can someone please give me an advice on what h/s fan do I get for this mobo... It has a small clearance for h/s fan and I got 1.2ghz athlon cpu for it.. Please help.. As much as possible I want the AMD approved h/s fan for it.. thanks a lot in advance..

I agree, the Volcano II is quiet, cools very well, is cheap (less than $10), and is AMD approved. Try http://www.bestbyte.net/Product.cfm?ProductID=93&CategoryID=6&Keyword=

I didn't think there was a clearance issue with this motherboard. Does it bump capacitors?

Yeh that was just what I was think Nixona. Though only the KT7 and A7V had clearance issues due to the caps.

As a matter of fact it does nixona.. I mean it's right next to where you clip your h/s fan combo.. I mean even my dual p3 D6VAA mobo, it has a clearance problem... Well since both of my heatsink, fan combos are orb brand... I don't know about the square h/s fan though.. I haven't tried one..

i have the ecs board and you can use any 'square' hsf ok, i use the fop32-1 and the volcano II on mine,

I use a VolcanoII on that board and it is doing great with my overclocked duron.
