My P2 (400, 100FSB) will boot at 103FSB but not at 112 (next FSB-setting). It boot in dos but not in windows. Is it just a heatproblem or something else? Please help me out!!Thanx

try increasing the voltage(Vcore) to the next setting. Offcourse when you overclock and increase the Vcore you need to make sure there if good air flow in the case and have good cooling on the cpu.

the mainproblem is i can't change any voltagesettings in BIOS (i have a Chaintech 6DBU mobo with a locked PII, does any extra fan solve my problem, or is there any prog that can change the corevoltage within win98 or dos?)

I couldn't find your motherboard on their site! make sure you have the corect model No. and check here:
http://www.chaintech-excel.com/Level%202/Products%20Motherboards.htm

Check the manual for your m/b, maybe there are jumpers on the motherboard for changing vcore. If the m/b does not offer any way to change the vcore, then you are stuck. Increasing cooling will not help overclock if you do not supply the required voltage to the cpu.
