Hi guys, I happened to have a look at this site http://www.vr-zone.com/guides/p3mod/
where they have info on increasing the core voltage of a processor just by interconnecting some pins on the processor. Looks kind of tricky and I couldn't find any other site with info about it, so I'd like to know, has anyone tried it and what do you think about its chances of success.
Thanks

Most newer mobo's have an option for Vcore settings. Also most good slockets also have dips for vcore setting. So this is more than likely not common practice. You can always go for it, but I personally would be weary of hacking the CPU directly. With my luck I would fat finger the thing and bend my pins badly.
