Sometimes when you delete programs the control panel icon remains and messes up your whole control panel...Do this, do a Find Files search for *.cpl which are all your control panel icons files, locate the icons which are no longer attached to an existing program and delete them. That should fix the problem http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Hey i just installed 2 programs (very small). T-Clock and Transparent ( makes your icon text transparent) buy since then i have notice that when i go to some of my Control Panel files and try to open them i get a "An error occurred while Windows was working with the Control Panel file \path to file"
If anyone knows the problem please do tell (btw i have deleted the 2 programs already)
