I got this on a magazine coverdisk at the weekend, and it is also available for download at http://www.evrsoft.com/download/
(5MB+)
I've been playing with it all weekend (sorry nothing posted in the wild yet!), and it is a quite remarkable piece of software for the price ($0.00)
I would explain all the features, but for a 5MB download, you may as well get it yourself and play around! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif It blows Frontpage Express out of the water, and doesn't stick in all that MSIE-only **** into your code.
The company's home page is http://www.evrsoft.com/
Enjoy!

alondra, the hardest thing about making a webpage is deciding what you want to put on it http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
I started with making a page that just said "Hello world" http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif and then started adding pictures, links etc.
You can develop this all on your own PC without ever having to post it on the internet. Many of the free webspace providers - www.geocities.com (http://www.geocities.com) www.fortunecity.com (http://www.fortunecity.com) etc provide simple tools and uploading to get you started.
Because the editor I suggested above doesn't allow WYSIWYG editing, you do have to know the basic tags etc. in HTML - Thor's links, or a beginner's book such as the Dummies range should help you there.
The quickest way to make a page is make a Word document like the webpage you want including images and links, and then save as HTML. This will do all the hard work for you. It won't be perfect, but you can do it without ever looking at a HTML tag!

If anyone is looking for a free web page provider, try http://home.crosswinds.net/ . They offer quite a nice service, without disk quotas or even space limits. Also, no banner ads on you site. The only thing that happens, is that a new windows will open with their homepage once your leave one of their hosted sites. It's a lot better than geocities or angelfire. I'm currently using them and hopefully I'll have my new computer site up by next week for everyone to enjoy.
Thanks U-96 I'm gonna try it out http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Biff

I finally took the time to try this program out... and I like it! But the similarities to HomeSite are almost nerveracking... still, the included DHTML samples ROCK!!! I've been wanting a good well commented foldertree layout and this is the answer!!! YAY http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
Thanks U-96
