how well(or bad) does brass conduct heat?

Here's some examples of the differences in heat conductivity of different metals: Steel is not very good at conducting heat... Next is brass, then aluminum, then copper, then silver. Silver is about 10 times better at conducting heat than steel. Steel still conducts heat about 50 times better than glass does and about 500 times better than wood!
