Is there a program that will let me change my core voltage from the bios??? my motherboard doesn't have any jumper to set my core voltage higher... i got dual P3 on ECS D6VAA motherboard.. Any help?? Thank you.... And also, what is the safest fsb setting for my pci hardwares?? I was able to raise it to 150 mhz x5 =750.. I got the cB0 667 mhz P3 chipset.. Pls help.. Thanks..

Nope, There aren't any softwares that will enable you to set the voltage parameters highr than what's available through the BIOS as far as I know.

As for the safest clock speed setting for the PCI post would be 33Mhz, but seeing that you raised the FSB only 17Mhz over the default FSB, you shouldn't be concerned about it ruining your PCI devices due to overclocked PCI ports. 17/4 = 4.25Mhz and that would make your PCI ports currently running at only 37.25Mhz.

I'm not too familiar with your dual processor mainboard, just read some reviews on it before I purchased my Abit VP6 dual mainboard. Does your mainboard have a "PCI & AGP Divider"? If it doesn't, don't get to happy OC'ing the CPU's since it could cause damage to the system. Try to stay under 40Mhz for the PCI ports.

PCI AGP divider?? Is that on my bios? How would I know if I have that option?? And for the voltage on my mobo, the reason why I came up to that idea is because of the MSI board having the soft core voltage option on the bios.. And thanks for replying and the advice.. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Yes, the AGP/PCI devider would be in your BIOS. It will show a fraction or a preset setting in the field. I will show options such as "1/2", "1/3", "1/4" next to the PCI clock option. If you are running the system at FSB-150, 1/3 = 50Mhz, so you know that's way over 33Mhz so you would set the PCI Divider to 1/4 which would make the PCI ports run at 37.5Mhz which would be closer to 33Mhz than using a 1/3 PCI divider. Look in your BIOS and you will see it if it has PCI/AGP Divider features... If you're not sure, you might want to e-mail Robert Richmond who did the article for SysOpt on your mainboard and ask him if it does have this feature...
