In my quest for a cooler Tbird (1.33 GHz, slightly OC'd to 140x10=1.4 GHz on an A7V133 board) I have seen some posts on other forums about Braziliantech's BIOSes. Apparently they have modified standard ASUS BIOS releases, I think mainly by setting register 52 to EB (hex) to enable CPU idling. Anyone have any experience or comments with this? Especially the 1004/FXD release for the A7V133?

One other thing: Has anyone else tried reducing Vcore? The T'bird spec is 1.75 V. Mine is set to 1.6 V and that bought me about 4-5 degrees C of cooling without any changes in stability. How low can Vcore go and still maintain stability? At 1.4 GHz my CPU temperature is 48 degrees C idling and 51 at full load, using an Alpha PAL6035 and an extra case fan.
