Does anyone know why when I disconnect my slave drive windows 95 boots really slowly, and then when in windows 95 it takes ages to do basic things like open "my computer", or "programs (in windows menu).
What do I do about this, if I need to change anything in Autoexec, or Config files, what do I need to change, or do i just install Win 95 again?? Help please.

Oh, Sorry I forgot to mention, I have to disconnect the slave drive because it won't let me boot even at 110MHz FSB b/c the slave drive is old and slow. Is there software that can overcome this???

When you disconnect the drive, make sure that you change the bios setting for the drives to reflect the absence of that drive. Leaving the drive's settings in the bios will make it look for that drive each time you open my computer, that could be causing the delay.

Check maybe you had Windows swap file on your secondary HD, in this case Windows gonna be slow indeed ...
