Right, what i would like to know is this.

I am currently running a slot 1 motherboard and a PGA 370 converter card with a celeron 667MHZ processor(currently running @ 744MHz)
but i would like to kow if there is any advantage in switching to a pga370 mobo.

Are there any advantages as far as overclocking goes ?

is overclocking a better option on my slot 1 mobo ?, or should i go ahead and spend the £88.12p burning a hole in my pocket on a pga370 mobo ?

Will overclocking be easier on this type of board or not ?

My current setup, enables me to alter my v-core on my celly, so would it be in my best interest to sink the afore mentioned money into a celly 733MHz proicessor ?

what do you computer wizards out there think ?

I know i am exceptionally self sufficient ( am i being big headed here ?), but oc'ing is NOT a forte of mine !!!, nor a favourite pastime either.#

My Current Mobo is a Gigabyte GA-6BXC, but im switching to a QDI legend 5/133E mainboard, for a richer overclock

Personally, I don't think there is a lot of advantages in switching to a newer motherboard.

There might be some updated bios settings you don't currently have available (like more AGP and PCI divisors), which will help in overclocking, but they won't necessarily garantee your overclock experience will be any more successful than it currently is.

You really didn't list the motherboard you currently use, so its hard to draw comparisons to what is out there and available now.
