I just got a new system:
-Abit VH6-II Motherboard
-Intel Celeron 667mHz CPU w/heavy duty fan
-8.4gig WD HDD ATA66 5400rpm
-256mb PC100 Micron SDRAM
-Teac 540E 40x CDROM
-HP CDWriter 9350i CDRW
-Soundblaster 16 PCI Sound Card
-S3 Trio 3D Video Card
-80mm Sunon Case Fan
My questin is at what overclocked settings (Clock Speed/FSB), voltages and temperatures would this system run stable. I've never really overclocked before and would like to keep it modest at most. I'm pretty interested in what it can do. In any case let me know if any of you have ideas or suggestions. peace...

hmm stay wint the normal volcore and overclock the fsb at 75mhz it will runn very smooth and no rick of lockup maybe u can try more overclocking but i really suggest 75mhz it will give u a nice overclocking youll have about 750 mhz i think

I can see you doing about about 850 easily, but what the votlage, you'll need only 1.85 at most and see how much the cpu is actually receiving, you can only do this if you mobo will let you check the hardware temp and voltage.
ERRR. Scuse me, i hate to **** in here, but i too have a celly 667, and i had it upto 1330Mhz this afternoon, so i know it can do it, having said that, i backed it down to 744, then used my mobo clocking utility to clock it back upto upto 834MHz. (utility, only works on gigabyte boards, Sorry !)
Heat problems ??
what in the hell are they ?
I never have and never will fall victim of frying a chip, i know this, cos i have not one, but SIX fans surrounding my cpu, i have two intake fans at the front, four on either side of the case(mains voltage with home designed power supply)
and 6 exhaust fans, Noisy ? nope, they are all mounted on rubber gaskets to keep the noise down.
In Total, that makes 22 fans, so my box runs as near as 1 degree centigrade, i once had it at minus 2 because i had the intake fans running over night before i used it the next day !
My case must be worth about £200 on its own, with all the mods i made to it, it looks like a space ship or some **** thing like that !!!
If you want designs, i charge £50 for the ones I came up with, i had them all copyrighted
