Hi, I'm trying to copy this file to my windows/system following microsoft KB, well it seems that I'm doing something wrong so I need your help with the exact command line to extract it from my cd rom, using the start up disk.

here ya go! the file you want IS on your installation. if you boot up with cdrom support you want to locate the Net10.cab file and hop over into that directory. Then just extract it using the following command:
EXTRACT /A NET10.CAB VSERVER.VXD /L C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM

and that should do the trick. Or if you want to do it the boring way, use SFC in WIN98.
