I'm running a P166MMX @ 200 on a Tyan S1590.
The o/c is via using the multiplier jumper x 3. It works okay, doesn't get very hot (went up to 82F this afternoon here in NJ), seemed easy to do.

Can someone steer me to a source of reading material that discusses changing voltage and bus and memory speed etc.?

I think I'd like to experiment some more to see what I can get out the 166.

BTW - what's the most I'm apt to get from it anyway?

Thanks.

Geo.

There should be a tutorial on the Sysopt Home page.

It's good practice starting w/ that 166. You should get a K6-2+ or a K-63+ chip, for that board. You could oc that thing to 600.
