I just bought a asus A7v133 mobo
Heatsink is super orb (dual fans)
PC 133 SDram 768 3 sticks of 256
Creative Geforce II GTS
AMD 1 GIG runnin @ 1.33 GHZ
Quantum Fireball 7200RPM H/D 20gb x2
Win 2000 and windows ME on seperae H/D's

My CPU temp is around 43 to 48 regardless of what speed i clock my CPU
Multiplier is locked at x10.
Im trying the Super Orb and ive already tried the ALPHA Pal 6035...what Hetasink do you guys recomend?
My first mobo also packed up....Bio wouldnt beep and the monitor didnt respond.
I got the nice Antec SX1040 case with 4 Sunun 80mm fans.
Please ICQ me with suggestions on how to get more power http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gifand reduce temprature.

How do i get this comp to run faster?
It locks up if i clock it more than 1001 mhz?
should I increase the Core power?

I would recommend keeping the Alpha PAL6035. Try it with the shroud on, and the fan blowing up. Your temps aren't in the red zone yet, so you could try upping the CPU voltage a bit.
