Before I put it together next week, anyone know of any possible conflict problems with this system?

AMD 1.33GHz 266FSB
Abit KT7A
256MB Atlas PC133
Voodoo 5 5500
SB Live Value
Standard 3COM ISA 56k modem
Standard 3COM 10/100 NIC
All perfectly wrapped in a nice package

On a side note, I'm hoping that the upgrade from my PIII 600 will yield some better performace from the Voodoo. I know it's not going to be a GEForce2 Ultra, but maybe I'll squeeze a bit out of it (I think the 600 is a bit of a bottleneck).

Can I expect a smooth ride on this?

Y'all are awesome!

Ok, first off, 3DFX has been bought up and technically don't exist anymore. That means no official driver updates, and I'm guessing no support. I can't tell if this was in your old system or you are buying but Geforce's are cheap, and if you don't want to go that route, you can pick up a nice little Radeon for a decent price. Throw the SB Live in the last PCI slot. Buy a PCI modem, try and stay away from a winmodem if you can, I personally don't like the buggers. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif What cooling are you going to use? The chrome orb won't fit on that board unless you get the right revision, and the Super Orb definitely will not fit. There's a problem with capacitors next to the CPU socket. For the 3com card, Modem- USRobitics 2977 (w/o voice) or 2976 (w voice) NIC- 3C905-B or 3C905-C. How's that? http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
