How does the 266 fsb work? batmeat 04-02-2001, 12:16 AM I have a 1GHz 266 fsb "c" chip. In my opinion it is a great O/C chip. I have mine running stable 1302. I can get it to boot at 1333 but not post. shady 04-05-2001, 08:13 PM what do you mean you can get it to boot, but not to POST??? lol batmeat 04-05-2001, 08:53 PM It boots up correctly, trys to run windows and most times I get a lot of errors, sometimes it boots into Windows and then after a few minutes the blue screen of death appears. IFReeman 04-09-2001, 06:07 PM Hey thekingofpain arent they the chips that will apparently clock to about 1.7gig I read a report about them (will try to find it again) I`m jealous. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Iain thekingofpain 04-09-2001, 07:27 PM Im hoping so ive read all the popular info to date, my best source is the Aussie boards as it seems like they get the parts (and some great components that NEVER make it here) WAY before us and are more agressive at the overclocking "hobby", im revamping my Clearcase from awhile back in dumping its 750@1250 OC'd T-Bird components into a Lian-Li 70 Aluminum case to replace my aged Classic Athlon server, the new setup (KT7A 1.33axia and MC462) will appreciate its NEW Clearcase home im SURE!!! IFReeman 04-10-2001, 07:23 PM Well KOP let us know how it goes, good luck.
