Patience my friend........ number of posts you have determine what your member "title" is.

The quality of your posts determine the admiration and respect you receive though http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

The junior tag is no big deal, anyway. Just jump in & make some {constructive} comments!!

Mntsnow - a special category is needed for you! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif Up to 2146 already? Look out, Socalgal, he's gonna pass you up! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Big-D22, the Members who replied here speak wisely. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

LOL, Ed, he just might at that!

Now... if only I could start catching up to him in the RC5 Stats (http://24.72.9.177/byemail.php) ... THAT would be something! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

Dear Big-D22:

As was written above, be patient. Eventually you'll learn to take advantage of the very type of thread you created and make a fairly useless comment like mine! Adieu!

Brangwen - Just 300+ posts to Senior Member. I can almost taste it! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

MntSnow, (not that it matters) but are you the leading poster besides maybe socalgal or sysopt? You certainly give some of the best advice.

hey brockway, I am just posting different questions. I could care less about my status. All I want is to help people out and to ask reasonable questions

What's this all of a sudden we're having a race or somethin'?

The quantity of posts in my opinion is not merely as important as the quality of posts.

Well, guess I'm far behind the race. I've registered March '99 and I've only got 385 posts. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif

Plucky, Thats what we have been talking about...It's NOT Quanity that counts but QUALITY http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif I personally have a large # of posts due to my work schedual and the nature of my job/business.

I have ALOT of time to visit SysOpt and try and help people.

It's only every so often we have some of the "younger crowd" (no I'm not stereotyping) that get a bit carried away with over zelious posting and reply to their own posts that everyone can see is just out to raise their posting numbers. But most people that visit can tell by the quality of the post and the other members answers as well which ones to listen to and which one's to take with a grain of salt so to say.

Btw I also will usually try to just go back into my own post and edit things instead of creating a whole new post to clairify things unless it's responding to a new question as EDITS Dont add to your post count. Also I try to answer questions that I have direct knowledge of and or have personal experience with and that is probably the main reason I have had pretty good "luck" at helping people.

Overall I would say we have the best members of ANY bbs out here on the net.

Mntsnow

..Sorry for such a long post....I'm off the "soapbox" now http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif *dang keyboard and my spelling did help either*

Hey, uh, I'm a member, and you know what I got when I upped from Jr. member to member? NOTHING!!! It's just a title, like: Mr., Mz., Corporal, attourney at law, pimp daddy, or count. The only difference is that with member status, you aren't associated with: being male, being female, being in the army, chasing ambulances, turning out tricks, or sucking blood.
