Somebody brought this up at Reseller ratings:
At Advanced PC Boost, why does the Brand name RAM cost $10 to ship, while the broker grade RAM costs $19.95 to ship? (both PC100s)

I guess it's pretty obvious what the answer is, but has anyone had any luck trying to reason w/ them? or asking for the manager? I had one smart *** (at a difft co.) say "Would it make you feel better if we made you pay $50 for the stick and $2 shipping?" I was thinking "Yeah it would dip$!@&, then your true price would be listed on pricewatch."

I've been looking around for a couple of sticks of RAM and I'm amazed to see how people manipulate the system - both ways. You probably could list it on Pricewatch for $1.00 so your name would come up first - and then charge $100 for shipping and some fool would buy it from you because it was the "cheapest". OTH many of our local people (OKC area) are still trying to get well in excess of a hundred bucks - some as high as 150- for 128 MB of generic PC-100 because "that's what we paid for it". I know people who paid $1500 for a TI-99 back in 1980 but I don't think one would bring that today. People have a right to make a living by selling things at a fair price, but don't insult our intelligence.
