These are 2 128MB Crucial PC133 CAS 2 sticks. The problem is that when I choose set by SPD in the BIOS the memory is detected at CAS 3 at 112MHz and higher. Under 112MHz SPD sets it to CAS 2. It happens with both of them separately too. I have a P3B-F motherboard.

"Don't move your arm like that."

No personal experience with that board, or those sticks, but it sounds like its nothing more than a fail-safe setting that the bios uses to ensure stability above 112Mhz FSB.

My guess is that the manufacturer wanted to ensure that at the higher FSB speeds that the RAM performed well. Since you have higher quaility memory, try to set it manually to CAS 2 at the higher speeds and see what happens. My guess is it will run just fine.
