The thing is that I'm having trouble feeding paper into the printer. Selecting manual or auto feed doesn't help either. By the way, the printer is the Canon BJC 4100, just got it today.

The paper's in but not all the way in, and I'd have to slide it in sometimes. The online light keeps on blinking and blinking and blinking. When paper's in there the light should remain on and not blink all the time.

Another problem is that when I am lucky enought to get the paper in properly, and when I try to print, the print head moves but no ink comes out. I've got new ink cartridges in there so I know the ink's not empty, can it be that the print head is clogged or dried up?

I am using the latest drivers for the machine.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Hey Duck; Did you install and align the cartridges before you starting to print???
Check all the little plastic guides to see if they were straight? Maybe you got a bummer printer, HUH??? Tyr auto feed and eject.
Reihnstall the software, I've had to do that with my Lexmark printer. Good luck http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Yup, it was definetely the printer head causing troubles.

Fixed it, now prints great.
A bit noisy, but better than my 10year old dot matrix.
