Unfortunately, no. Those are already on a 133 Mhz FSB, so you would have minimal gains raising the FSB above specification. Go for one that runs on a 100 Mhz FSB, then bump it up to 133 http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif.

Sweeper as you are no doubt aware, the PIII 733 has a FSB of 133 this means you would have to push the FSB much higher e.g 140/150 to really get any difference. If you want to overclock you aare better of going for either the PIII700 or 750mhz cpu as they start with FSB of 100mhz. With good cooling most of those can make FSB 133mhz atleast.
Make sure you are suing PC133 ram.

PIII 733 FSB 133 multiplier 5.5
FSB raised to 140 = 770mhz
FSB 150 = 825mhz

PIII 700 FSB 100 multiplier 7
FSB raised to 133 = 931mhz
FSB 140(if it will do it) = 980mhz

So for overclocking you are much better going for a 100mhz FSB chip.

My friend has got a PIII 733 running on an Asus P3V4X mobo. with the stock heatsink and fan it will go to 792mhz (144 x 5.5)

So I would definitely advise getting either the 700 or 750(which should do 1 Gig).

They speak the truth. I have a P3 700 purchased from a reputable site(I don't know if I'm allowed to say who) that is running at 980 right now(7X140) with no voltage boost. Zero problems. I was set to get a 133 fsb because it seemed to be better because it was a faster fsb. Here's the thing, you can change the fsb but you can't change the multiplier so -high multiplier lower fsb. Now it makes sense to me.

Looking to pick up a 733 Pentium III. Are they good overclockers? Will be going on an:
Abit BE-6 MB
256 megs pc133 ram
GeForce 2 MX
Sound Blaster Live (Value)
2 Maxtor 7200 RPM 13.6 gig HD Ultra 66
Looking to replace my 700 Celeron. 66-83 FSB is to slow!!!! Need 100+ FSB.

The 7.5 multiplier makes a 750/100 a 1000/133 in disguise. Try to get the newer cC0 stepping model, that architecture is designed for 1133MHz. Look for SL4KE (Retail) or SL4BZ (OEM).

I should have mentioned mine is the newer cCo stepping model.

INTEL CELERON 800 FC-PGA 100MHz Front Side Bus
How good are they?

You should be able to overclock a celeron 800
with 100MHz bus up to 1066MHz with no problems as long as you have PC133 ram.
(8x100 = 800MHZ) but (8x133 = 1066MHz)
If you take it any higher than that I'd suggest making sure to invest in some fans and a good heatsink like a Global WINfop.

Well my system stays at a reliable 25-27c. There are mixed views on the 800 celeron. Some say it's not very good. I just don't want to pick it up and have it be a terrible overclocker. I have a Golden Orb running on my 700 Celeron now. Plus 4 case fans and the Power supply fan. Inside the case stays cool.
