Well Dave, I have cheap ram and I do have a FOP 38 on the chip with copper heat paste.Ran the machine for 2 hours last night playing counterstrike and the temp. stayed at 95 deg. On the volts thing I will try to move them when? It becomes unstable, which means when it won't boot right or when the machine temputre reach more than 105 for long periods of time? As far as the GeForce before I reinstalled win2k I used to have no problem with the hardwear settings cming up that way, but now Winman suite no longer is on my computer or is the softwear to oc the chip. I liked having that cause what u said is tru e it was just a few clicks and the work was done.If anyone knows how I can get that stuff back I would be very thankful. It's not on the installtion disk. I already looked there.Having trouble finding it on the web site. But thanks dave and hopefully I will be succesfull in fine tuning this great machine to be fast as possible thanks...SIC...

use small increments in your overclocking. instead of using the FSB, u should use the multiplier in the BIOS. again use small increments, try to stay at the lowest voltage, stable. if u cant stay stable at a certain speed, then up the voltage .5 volts. always sue small increments. if u have quality PC133 RAM that makes a difference also. cheap RAM=crappy overclocking. u can overclock your Geforce 2, make sure u have updated drivers such as maybe the 6.50, i wouldnt use higher drivers than that for right now. overclock your card by going on your desktop, right click-properties-settings tab-advanced-Geforce2 tab-hardware settings. use 3-5 point increments in overclocking your card. if u have a good HS/fan combo on your CPU then u should be fine. if u have a stock fan, buy a Global Win FOP32. it is good price with good performance. http://coolerguys.com/CPUCOOL/Duron.htm

Be careful about overclocking your video card, you may be sorry you ever thought of the idea in the first place, I know my MX didn't care for too much of it.
