I would like to know where I can buy some RAM. I don't plan to buy off the Internet.
I want to know which stores are a good place to RAM. Is Fry's a good place to buy RAM?

Fry's can be a decent place to get RAM. If you're getting 'name brand' higher quality RAM then be prepared to pay a little more.
I usually get generic cheap-o ram at Fry's. This is what I do (some might consider this unethical, but I don't agree): For example, I'll get a stick of PC100RAM (cheapest they got), take it home and see if it'll run and an overclocked speed, like 112mhz. If so, then great. If not, then I take it back the next day and say it doesn't work or wasn't compatable with my other stick of RAM (hard for them to argue this point), and I'll get another stick of generic and try it out.
I don't consider this unethical because I'm not ripping anyone off. The RAM is still good and is still gonna be sold as PC100 RAM and will still get used by someone with no problems. I'm just trying to find the best of the cheapest RAM modules, that's all. And BTW, the most returns I've have to do in order to find a good quality cheap-o module is two.

Oh well I was going to suggest Advanced PC Boost. It is a great place for RAM and I have dealt with them alot. I got 192 MB of PC133 (generic) today for $171 shipped. Not too shabby. They give what they claim on their site. They are in CA.

Try www.onvia.com (http://www.onvia.com)
They have US and Canadian outlets. Free shipping (in Canada st least)
I bought 64mb pc-100 for $81 in Canadian dollars, not sure what the US price is but the exchange rate is usually around 1.5xCanadian dollar=US dollar. So that should put the price in US dollars around $55 but check the US site for prices.

Thanks for your responses.
I didn't plan on buying memory from Best Buy.
I bought a CD-Rom and it ended up not working for me.

Here's the url
www.pcboost.com (http://www.pcboost.com)
Like I said I got 192MB (128 and 64) for $173 w/ 3 day FedEx ($33 shipping?). They are generic but work great in my system and overclock nicely. Only one per order though (one stick of each type that is...)

I recently bought a 256MB stick of PC133 Micron ROM from memorymonster.com for $281 (incl shipping). They've since dropped the price by $10.
