Wrist strap

I keep seeing in various post that you should wear a wrist strap to prevent static electricty. Could someone tell me where you can purchase these straps?

Seriously though....no carpet, and touch the case frame first and you'll be doing fine.

If you don't have an un-carpeted room, is it safe to say, "as long as you keep yourself grounded to the case, via your hand on the case, is that ok"?
