SoftFSB is a utility that allows you to change the FSB while windows is in session.
When you reboot the FSB reverts back to whatever is set in the BIOS!

RIGHT? WRONG? Anything Else?

There is a way to permanently enable the settings so they will startup every time with the computer, but I have lost the link.

If you are interested I will have a look for it again.

I've written a lot about SoftFSB around here lately, including links where it still can be found. Do a search on it and get a sense of what it can do.

Thanks.
I think I'm clear on SoftFSB.
Now the challenge.

What setting for an Abit SH6?

A new mobo using the 815 chipset with enough room between the Slot1 PIII800E and the SDRAM for a VOS32 cooler.

I think I'm almost the first on the street with one. I did not see the clock generator on the mobo.
I do have a question into Abit to see if they will tell me what's on the mobo.
