Ok, I got the jumper settings I need for my Mobo but when I changed them the change didnt show? I tried to go to 4.5 from 4. the setting presently is on auto. I removed the jumper block and set it at the proper settings for 4.5 but it didnt change. Anyone help? feel free to ICQ me.
MoBo : HOT-637 v2.2 (i440LX)
Now that I am sucessfully running @300mhz with no problem (FSB at 75mhz jumper auto arrarently @4) I would like to try and put the multiplier at 4.5 instead of putting my FSB @83mhz.

That's a Pentium motherboard. You can't change the multiplier on it. Well, actually you can, but as you have found out, it has no effect. Your CPU is multiplier locked like all Intel CPUs.

is there any way I can tweak the BIOS to let me run at 333? I tried the jumper setting and it booted but froze at the Windows start screen.

It's not the mainboard that limits the multiplier setting, it's the CPU. If your CPU doesn't produce multipliers above 4.0x, then nothing in the world will make it do so.
