Anyone know what File/s AIM Buddy lists are stored in?

I ue AIM and ICQ, and with ICQ its a folder for all list info...where is it in AIM?

i don't know if this is true for all sytems or not, but mine was installed in "windows\aim95" so you could check there.... when i first installed it, it gave me no prompt about it, so i am just assuming that that is the default install path of it.... hope this helped...

Really depends on where you chose to install AIM in the first place. If you are looking for the buddy list file, do a search on your HD for the file BUDDIES.BLT

Found it!
I installed it under E:\AIM, but my buddy list is under D:\winnt\aim95\<username>\buddy.lst

I think its put under your Windows directory under AIM95 folder

Yep, it's the same for all versions of windows. I don't know why it installs there instead of in the aim directory. Silly program design i guess http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
