Nice! But man that water looks c-c-c-c-cold.
Looks like the great beginnings of a cool web site. But since I can't let ya get away without a critism, I'll do my best to nitpik: under "things you love" I don't know just how necessary it is to list surfing the net, I mean after all, you got your own web site, hehe.
And what kind of guitar are ya playing? Electric or no? Amp? Effects? Those are things I'd find interesting read. (although my own site is lacking such info about me.)

Thats the type of "outdoors" I like to play in http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Looks like your on your way to having a nice site. I personally would prefer to have some sort of "background" color as I do get tired of just white. (just my personal pref)

Yes we got off to a slow start this year on snow but in the last week or so the area that I sled in has received over 3 feet of new DRY FLUFFY POWDER ...AHHHHHH http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif
As for getting a background color when you are in Hotdog Pro you should be able to select the page propertys and choose "backgound" properties and from there select a color. I'm sorry I can remember exactly as I have not used Hotdog for over a year or so.

ram, just as a learning experience, why don't you try to alter the background color manually with just a text editor (like Notepad.exe)? It's VERY simple and it'll at least get your toes wet in dealing with the HTML format, and maybe you'll come to the conclusion that for 90% of web pages you don't need anything more than plain'ol Notepad.exe. Try this:
Open Notepad.exe so it's just sitting there empty. Now, find your index.html file and just drag it 'n' drop it in Notepad.
Now find the body tag in it. It should be towards the top, and look similar to this:
<BODY TEXT="#33CCFF" BGCOLOR="#000000" LINK="#FF0000" VLINK="#3333FF" ALINK="#FFFF00">
This statement is defining the colors of the normal text, background color, link color, visited link color, & active link color.
If you find a body tag like this but it doesn't have a BGCOLOR="#xxxxxx" then you can plug it in there yourself.
Now, what are those numbers & how do you choose a color? Just pick a color using this hex color chart (http://members.home.net/dcowger/Hexcolor.htm), or something similar, then put your color's hex code in the body statement as the BGCOLOR.
000000 = black / FFFFFF = white
Those are the two extremes. _____________________________________
If you just dig into the HTML code, you'll find it's not that difficult. Plus, if you make the HTML pages yourself in a text editor, they'll probably come out about 1/2 to a 1/4 the size than if a software front-end makes them (HotDog, Frontpage, etc.) And, they'll be much easier to troubleshoot if you do encounter any hiccups in a page not displaying properly.
Anyways, just tryin' to assist. No offense taken if you just ignore this advice complete. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif I know a lot of people just don't want to know the HTML stuff, and they're fine with that. Whatever floats yer boat.

Very very nice! I also like the comment about the UNION - IBEW local 18 here and D$%$ proud of it!
One small thought - not having DSL (yet), the Sandra benchmark jpegs took a little time to download. Try saving them as .gif and you could probably cut their size in half.
