Well I had to try it,my board without dipswitches and overclocking. For those of you considering this DONT DO IT! This is my second attempt and second warning.(I dont listen)
I got my hands on a dremmel tool and went at it tonight. First completely grinding away beyond use a connection I wanted to keep. DOUGHT! Even after lenthy study and preporation I messed up huge. The only route left open was 1gig,I went for it.
On my fifth atempt at fixing my wrong and not getting anything it happened. I heard the sweet music of my monitor clicking on. OMG would it could it be a Gig? .....
Well it wasent a gig it was 800.....but hellfire it was working! So I dont know how or why nor do I care all I know is it is working. I bumped up my little 3mhz FSb increase and I am so releaved. Its only 750@826 but it my 826 and its not fubar. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/biggrin.gif
