I was wondering how much performance gain would I get it I changed my sound card to a SBLive! (in games that support 3D hardware), it's supposed to take the CPU work load off, but I'm not sure if I should upgrade depending on the performance factor.

What sound card are you currently using ?

I have a SBLive with LiveWare 3.0 and it is a fantastic card.
I haven't seen any performance increase in terms of speed of the machine, but what a difference in the sound quality !!!
