Athlon 600!!!!!!

I couldn't wait for the prices to drop - I got the 600 in a bare bones - case, CPU, and FIC SD11 motherbord - hate to say what I paid. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif

I had trouble with the speed, and I never could get my Creative Modem Blaster to work in that single ISA slot, but after a BIOS flash and an external modem - I'm flying. I got to tailor some of my free web space so that I can post benchmarks - woah - Sandra's off the scale!

Bust out the FreeSpeed Pro and give'r hell! That CPU is capable of so much more! I'm sure with some tweaking you can get that sucker classified as a weapon under US export laws!

mad, most of us use Sandra, from sisoft. The standard edition is freeware. http://www.sisoftware.demon.co.uk/sandra/
