Is it too hot?

My games goes locked when I play a game for a while. Is it because my processor is far too hot??? My processor temp is 138F right now....
I have to note that other applications doesn`t hang up, just my games running in openGL and d3d....Is it because the processor is too hot??Tnx for any help!!!!

That is way too hot. Anything over 120°F is pushing it.

What kind of CPU is it. You desperately need to find better cooling.

Ok..but my question is; is the heat the cause of why my games goes locked?????
Sry, I formed my first post really bad...getting new cooling in a few days, will it solve the problem with the games???
The processor I use is a AMD Duron700Mhz....not overclocked....yet
