I'm using a H45 Quick CD-ROM drive with win95 on a Toshiba 110 CS laptop. The CD-ROM worked with the first CD, but now doesn't work. I get errors of "Program is not win 32 bit program" or "need to clean CD".
I know I have good CD-ROMS, and I have uninstalled CD-ROM and let windows 95 redetect the hardware. I tried running in on the pc card interface and the parallel port, both with the same errors. I can view the files in the directory on the CD-ROM, but cannot execute anything or read the "readme.txt". When I try to read the "readme.txt" file, it opens in notepa with a display of computer language gibberish.
Anyone got any ideas before I give it the heave test?
Thanks
