how can I tell which motherboard I have?..and how do I get to my bois?, I have tried delet and that did not work....I'm wanting to overclock, I have a AMD-K6/266AFR...please help, Thanks.

If you open up your computer, there may be markings on the motherboard indicating the company. It might also say on bootup in the upper left side of the screen. To get into your BIOS, press [i]del[/b] when you first turn on your computer. Do you not have your manual?

Got your E-mail, The only thing I can suggest to figure out your motherboard is download Sisoft Sandra. After the program is installed click on the Mainboard info logo. It identifies my Motherboard real good even gives the serial number. So try this link.

Faststang, now that you know what motherboard you have, I would make up a new post with somthing like how to overclock a K6 in the title. I myself havnt had all that much experiance with them. Youd be bettor off with advice from the K6 overclocking pros.
