i took the fan shroud off of my alpha h/s to see if i got better cooling. but i didn't notice after i tightened the fan screws that they went all the way through the h/s(holding the h/s off the cpu http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif) my duron 650@950 fried in a matter of seconds...but all is well i got a duron 700 for 30 dollars cheaper than i paid for the 650 2 months ago.it isn't unlocked like my 650 was, but because of the hundred posts about the pencil trick i knew what to do http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif 900 stable now, gonna go for 1 gig soon http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

I screwed the screws in to far one day about two weeks ago, I was just changing the fan and wasnt paying attention. I did it while the heatsink was still clipped down to the cpu. And just like you said, my 1100 T-bird Fryed in seconds. Bummer deal!!
Oh oppainter that sux http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif
thats why I see you twice at the o\cloking chart at ninjamicros with a 1100 cpu

MOFO,as far as the guy getting 1350 he set his multiplier to 12.5 and FSB to 108. This gives you 12.5x108=1350.
Oh
me is stupid http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif
