I just bought a evga geforce 2 MX and it totally destroys my last video card which was a voodoo3 2000 PCI. I have overclocked the geforce which is stock at 150/150 to 175/175.
It runs very stable with a globalwin 7200rpm heatsink and fan on it. If anyone has it overclocked higher than that let me now what your at and what cooling your using. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
I have a Cardexpert GF2MX 155/175 at 175/200. No special h/s or cooling. No problem.

I have the 3D Prophet II MX and its default is 175/175. I run mine at 189/189 w/o problems but I have a monster fan/HS on it that blocks a PCI and HSs on my memory chips.

i have a prophet 2mx. the core is at 220(default is 175), and the memory is at 220(default is 183). my 3dmark 2000 score increased by 545 marks http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif and it is stable with the stock heatsink, and a global-win fan attached to it.
prophet2 mx
default 175/183, it's been stable at 220/215 without extra cooling.
But I find that some what scary, so I just run at 200/200

Retail Prophet, no probs at 210/220...now that I give it some thought, I think the sliders goes alittle farther...anyways, wingfin heatsinks and H.O. fan...

Has anyone downloaded the Detonator3 drivers for the GF2MX? And if so, have you noticed any considerable difference with performance?

i have the 6.32 drivers, they seem the same as 5.32, but they have all the new features..but performance and stability seem the same as before.
