I don't know how many of you are sports fans, but there was a wreck at Daytona today that was amazing. 13 or so trucks. Now I like racing, and I am not one to just watch for the wrecks, but this has to be one of the harshest accidents I have seem. Try to catch it on your local news or ESPN. There is an .avi of it at www.espn.com (http://www.espn.com) as well. No one in the stands or trucks were seriously injured. Like I said, it was amazing. Check it out.
i saw that wreck. Bodine got smashed, i am suprised and relieved that so few people were injured in the crowd. I also was amazed how far the engine landed from the frame...

Well I've seen tons of wrecks myself. Didn't expect to be amazed by another accident. But upon viewing this crash, all I can say is, "Holy ****!" I can't believe there was no fatalities. And the fact that there were no serious injuries hopefully goes to show that our safety technology is finally approaching the same level as our speed technology.

I'm a big race fan, and have seen quite a few wrecks, but that one is simply incredible. Even more amazing that nobody was seriously injured!!
If only passenger cars were made as well....

WOW is right! What are your opinions on whether or not the trucks will ever be at Daytona again?!

I think you can count on it. Fans love to watch them, advertisers/sponsers love anything the fans do cause it gives them a pretty captive audience for a couple hours. And lets face it.......if you're a driver, racing at Daytona is like being the quarterback on a football team playing in the superbowl.
