I've been a Napster fan for some time, but some friends of mine told me that they wanted to get involved in Napster and when they downloaded the EXE file from Napster.com, it doesn't work. I tried it also, and it doesn't appear to work. Any suggestions?

His server was down for a few days until he moved it. He exceeded his transfer limit and they bumped the site for a while. Should be back up by now though.

Napster--a great concept, a great product, Bulletin board has a lot of wise guys on it though. I still havent figured out how they are ever going to make money to even recoup there initial investmate. They have 5 or 6 servers around the country and the bandwidth must be huge.
Just their legal costs are going to be outrageous

they have a lot more than 5 or six servers...i have been on at least 20 in one night...
