Gnarly, is a good way to state it, socalgal.
5' Desk with shelves along the back are complete (books, disks, etc.), then there's a good sized printer stand with my system on top and the shelves are full underneath. To the right another table with printer a shelf filled too.
Tonight I ventured behind the desk to hook up some phone lines. I was amazed at the amount of wires that were there.
No wonder why it takes me all day to clean the room. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif Moved it all last year - what a chore!

On top, and on upper level areas:
-Large rubber rat
-Several blank audio cassettes
-More cd-roms than I care to count
-A few more audio cassetes
-A stuffed gorilla
-Several cdrom cases filled to the top

-frequently accessed tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters. etc.)
-Small metal rat
-Cannon BJC-210 printer
-19" monitor

-Mouse
-Long streched out jaguar desk lamp (catching on to the animal motif yet)
-Big Larual and Hardy framed picture
-Large chalk monkey sculpture (don't ask how I got this one http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif )
-Some wierd web site coffee mug
-Rubix Cude (no desk is complete without one of these), nothing like analog gaming!!
-Some tennis balls for throwing at people!
-A can of Prince Albert cigarette tobacco (rally old)
-A couple of cases of ball point pens
-A Camel cigarette "Joe Kool" beverage holder
-A few dollars in change stuffed into camel
-Destop microphone
-300w desktop speakers
-A bunch of unsorted wiring connectors
-Computer (AT mid tower case)

Underneath, and in storage areas:

I'm not so sure if this can be called a desk. Its more of a peice of wood with four legs... Everything is piled on top of 2 drawer filing cabinets, etc... From L to R...
- Printer 1 (old laser)
- Printer 2 (new color...sitting on top filing cabinet)
- Tower on floor
- Monitor
- After that its just all cluttered junk.. Papers, Floppies, CD's, Lamp, Mouse, keyboard, etc, etc, etc...
Heck, I even have old computer peripherals I don't used, packed under neath & behind things at this desk...
