HELP!!! have a HP266Mhz - does anybody know how to OC this thing?

I have an HP Pavilion 266Mhz PII on a KL97-XV,v1.04 mb (with an Intel chipset, I think). I added a heat sink with a mounted fan to the backside of the cpu riser board and an additional high capacity fan to the case to evacuate any additional heat. The multiplier was set to 4.0x & I changed it to 4.5x & then 5.0x, but see no effect on speed. I was told that the bus freq (which can range from 50M to 83M) is controlled by a soft switch on the mb and required a bios upgrade to be changed (there is no option in the bios to do so, currently).
Two questions: How far can I OC this thing, & how do I accomplish it?

i don't know if this will help you, but i dl soft fsb and it enabled me to increase my bus speed from 66 to 80,,,,,,i now run my 233 @280.......hope it helps.....
