Intel Socket 7?

Anyone heard anything about this one? I heard somewhere (don't 'ya hate it when someone says that!) that Intel may be releasing chips for the socket 7 line again. Is this true? Any input here?

I mean, I know that AMD is going to hawk their crippled K6/3's as K6/2+ chips. Supposedly at 550 then 600 then.........???????? Actually wouldn't mind having a K6/2-600 and see what it'd clock to.

The k6-2+ is supposedly on 0.18 die possibly 1.9v core with a additional multimedia instructions (it should fly if it ever materializes) as opposed to the K6-3 on 0.25 die.
