Hello,
I rescently receives a slotket. As far as I can tell it is generic. VCore adj 1.8-2.1 (+.05) 2.1-3.5 (+.01) and what APPEARS to be FSB adjustment, althought its not labled what JP's to short. By looking at the VCore adjustments, I can tell its a PPGA slotket. Her's where the questions come in:

- Would it work w/ FC-PGA celerons?

- If so, would setting teh VCore to Auto run it at 1.6?

- Finally, in case I can't figure out the FSB jumper, do the B21 trick work on slotkets?

Thank You for your time,

if there is an vcore auto jumper that should (in theory) run at the default of the chip. as far as FSB i would just go with adjusting that on the motherboard (if is possible)

I believe the pins do different things between PPGA and FC-PGA, so I doubt it would work with FC-PGA celerons. With the voltage, what does your motherboard support? If your motherboard doesn't support anything lower than 1.8, then there's no way to get it to run any lower. If your motherboard supports lower voltages (1.5, specifically), and you set the slotket to auto, I'd imagine it would run at 1.5. As for that B21 trick, I'm not sure, but there's one way to find out!

Good luck.

Hello,
Well, the mobo will run Copermine processors, so it should detect the voltage. And it doesn't have FSB adjustment.

Ultimatly, would I risk perminatly damaging the CPU or processor?

Thank You,
