I have a CUSL2 anf p3 coppermine 667Mhz and wonder what's the upgrading possiblities in the years to come? There's the pentium 4 coming out and the new .13 pentium 3 coming also which will probably require a new chipset. The coppermine pentium 3 flip chip highest is 933Mhz, but will anything higher come out?

If it can be done, Intel will likely release FC-PGA versions of both the 1 gigahertz and 1.13 gigahertz P-III.

Also, though I'm not sure of this, the .13 micron P-III's might run in motherboards that support lower core voltages.

I'd say at worst, you're stuck at 933. 1.13 gigahertz might be possible or, finally, the full 1.4 gigahertz the P-III core is supposed to be capable of at .13 micron.

And if u decide to skip P3 and go for P4, you will need a new mobo, a new cpu, and new mofocking RAmbus or DDR ram
Unless they make mobos compatible with SDRAM
