Hi, I'm new to this and i need some help with overclocking my motherboard. I have an Epox EP-61 BXA-M motherboard. It has only one jumper that enables me to change FSB from 66-100mhz. It came to my attention that the BX chipset is overclockable to 133mhz. Does anyone has a similiar motherboard overclocked to 133mhz FSB?!?

try overclocking your mobo thru SoftFSB. You can find it by following this link: http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA002374/

Download the executable, then run it. It will extract some files. Run Softfsb.exe, select your mobo. Bump up you FSB a bit at a time. Restart the machine. Watch your tempirature. If it goes above 50C do not go any higher. Also be careful increasing your FSB over 112Mhz. You have a good chance of friying your AGP card or PCI devices.

Good luck.

It's more likely that the drives and video card won't overclock when pushing the fsb. Some boards allow for separation of the agp and fsb.

Make sure you have a graphics card that can tolerate high AGP speeds, like a GeForce or Voodoo3.

What processor do you have that you want to run at 133? Overclocking your mobo to 133 might not be your main concearn if your processor can only be expected to hit 110 tops(celeron2)
