Great Idea http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
Lets all throw in ten bucks each. I'm sure less than half of the members really would, but ten or twenty grand ought to be enough for something real nice. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Hey, I'm all for everyone chipping something in, but where would we send it, and how do we know Socal isn't reading this, and not spoiling her surprise? http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

LOL http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif. You can send it to our San Francisco office and I'll make sure it gets to her.. Make sure it says ATTN: SysOpt.com on there and not just Socalgal or you're going to have some mighty confused folks http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif.

I'm in too. I think it should be something really nice. Should it be technically oriented (practical) or something outlandish and completely different from the basis of the site?

Well although I am still somewhat new the knowledge and experience I have gained just from this board are enough to warrant a contribution on my part. We might as well ask her what she'd like since she has already read this and the suprise is pretty much gone. Oh well count me in.

Where should we send the MO ($10) to do this. I guess someone should be the rep to collect the money and then send the gift to SF. I'd be happy to do it and keep track of everything here. Or maybe Pickel since he started this idea. LMK and I'll send the cash. Please use email so noone can be a jerk and try to scam us. I can see that happening easily if we aren't careful.

What me worry??? Have no fear, I was talking with Cupid this morning and he assured me that first thing he'd be winging his way to west coast as we speak!! Socalgal : You can run....but...you can't hide. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Of the 6,000 or so members, only about 1/20th or so participate(my guess). If the ones who do visit this board would send a small gratituty, I'm sure Socal would appreciate it greatly. If you're broke, make it just a dollar. I work with a LOT of people and when I take up a collection for someone Its easy to get a few hundred bucks, and most only give a buck. So send that dollar to our hard working lady.. After all it's Valentines day, think about it, has sysopt been a help to you personally or not.. I CHALLENGE EACH MEMBER TO SEND $1.00 U.S. . More won't hurt if you can afford it.. theCorvetteDoctor aka DrVette
