I am new to the game and would like to know how to check my cpu temp. I have a VIA Apollo MVP3 chipset. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many motherboards have intergrated sensors that lets you see diferent informations like CPU temp. cpu fan rotations,....
That is usualy in a BIOS.
But if you don't have that you can buy yourself little probe (costs very little) which is installed between CPU & heatsink.

When I had my K6-3 400 the board also had a MVP3 chipset, and there was a temp prob under the chip on the board, and I used "System Monitor" inculeded on the driver cd.

I was normally about 30 degrees C.
