Well, this is an excerpt from Pickel's post, but I was so proud of it, I just had to share it again.

We need seek more than we have, for the Lord is more than we can ever hope to have. Seek Him from whom all life stems. On these days, let us, the People of God, have Him held above all.

my lesson here today, folks, is this:
on this valentine's day (and every other day for that matter), use control. Unless in wedlock, let not your fleshly desires come to light. Let nothing past a kiss leave your body. And let no lust cross your mind. You cannot prevent all thoughts or ways of thinking in one small moment. You must seek the Lord our God for the eventual temperance. Conform your ways and ideas to His.

On this valentine's day, have fun. Be with your love, but don't give in to the temptations of the flesh. The devil will win out unless we turn to Him and denounce all that the devil wishes us to think and do.

Give heed to your actions and thought.

Besides guys, let's get real here. Cupid, nor anyone else is going to bring Heather Graham or Catherine Zeta-Jones to me. I have a wife and three kids. I don't cheat on her, I don't do drugs. I don't drink alchohol. I smoke a fat Dominican cigar maybe once a month. I don't beat my kids, or my dogs.

GIVE ME A BREAK HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!

I'm just trying to inject a little levity into an otherwise much too serious world! Take it easy on me.........

I was being facetious, okay?
