Building a Dual System and need to know what Hard drives handle Overclocking well?
Ide or USCSI NARROW,USCSI WIDE,ULTRA 2 SCSI,USCSI WIDE SINGLE?
Which brands? Maxtor,IBM,Quantum,Fujitsu,Seagate,Western Digital?
Don,t have a clue as to which ones perform well if Overclocked. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

Keeping the PCI/IDE speed within reason is the issue. 33MHz is spec, 40 usually is not a problem.

I like Western Digital IDE drives for many reasons, and have never had a problem with speeds up to 41 on my MSI 6163Pro mobo.

ide drives that ran at 50 pci bus for me
maxtor diamond max 10 gig
western digital 3.2 gig caviar
samsung 4.3 gig

all ran with no problem at 50 pci bus, but my vid card did NOT like the 100 agp bus after 4 hours of online gaming
