Hey guys,

I just tested my second system with 3dmark2k.

My setup is as follows:

Amd-k6-2 450@518(4.5x115)
Asus p5a-b
64Mb pc133 Toshiba ram
Voodoo 3 2000 pci.
10.2Gb 7200rpm hd.

I had to run the test at 640x480, cause my monitor didn't supports higher.
Goes back to my old 386 time, litterally, it was the monitor for my 386.

I had a score of 1444, the v3 is not o/c'ed.

Do y'all think this is a nice score, or is it a little bad???

I've had a lot of luck with twisty-ties. I've also used bent paper clips, although reluctantly.

Looks pretty good to me!

Here's what I have:

Amd-k6-2 450@515(5x103)
EPoX MVP3G5 (2mb cache)
128Mb PC133 generic RAM
Voodoo 3 3000 AGP (not o'ced)
13Gb 7200rpm hd w/2mb cache

My score in 3dMark2000 was ~ 1264 3dmarks.

I know I could get better marks if I used a higher FSB and lower multiplier, but with my board it's not possible. My 2mb cache doesn't like 112mhz FSB.

Looks good.

I get about 1500 on the following system:

K6-2 500 @ 550 (5.5 * 100) 2.6V
192Mb of 100Mhz RAM
TNT2 clocked up to ultra
MVP-3 board with 1mb of cache
SonicVortex2 sound card
Quantum Fireball CX

Windows 98se

Sooo,

I guess my FSB does the trick then, doesn't it???
Sounds like I got a pretty good score there, and my v3 ain't even o/c'ed yet.

Have to find a way to put a fan on it, but there is a wayy crappy heatsink on it, can't screw anything on it.

I'll keep y'all posted of the results.
