Video Capture on a Laptop?

I have a loptop and a VHS video camera, what is the best and cheapest way to capture video into my computer with decent quality??? All help is appreciated!!!

They have a product out on the market that i have seen called a Snappy! It attaches via a serial port. I dont know how good the quality is but it might be worth checking out.

You buy a video card with audio/video inputs and outputs. The card usually comes with the software.. I think theres ones for around $150, but you have a Lab top bet it would cost a lot more for it..
